Kids reading to homeless cats. I’m not usually that much of a sap, but this one makes me go belly-up. This animal shelter in Pennsylvania helps kids practice their reading skills while soothing cats who suffer from ennui and neglect. It’s like feeding two birds out of one hand. (That’s the kinder, gentler version of “Kill two birds with one stone.” I am trying to be a kinder, gentler cat. And anyway I use my claws and teeth, not stones.)
